Yoyo Ribbon flowers Tutorial

A very easy and quick project yet the results are beautiful.....

YOU WILL NEED

  • Scrappy fabric circles
  • coordinating colored ribbons
  • needle and thread
  • pony tail holders (if you want to use these flowers on pony tails)
  • scissors
  • buttons or beads for the center

HOW TO MAKE

slightly fold the edges of the fabric circle

now with the help of the needle and thread sew all around the edges using running stitch,

care fully pull the thread
and you will end up making a yoyo ,secure the thread and break it off .

singe the edges of the ribbon with the help of a candle flame and sew along one side again using running stitch and pull ......

until a round shaped flower is formed secure and break the thread.

Assemble the flower by adding the ribbon on top of the yoyo and putting a white bead or button in the center ,stitch them together with the help of needle and thread and you are done .

Use these little beauties on pony tail holders,

OR on a wrist band

or simply add a safety pin at the back and make a brooch out of it ..... if you make any then do show them to me :) ,have a great day
